• About me

  • Krisztina is attracted to the endless possibilities of combining dance and object manipulation. She is inspired first and foremost by the structure of the natural world. She is fascinated by how different geometric shapes interact with each other, and how patterns evolve from lines, waves and spirals. This exploration of movement – which involves spinning circular objects like hula hoops, poi or crystal balls – makes the essence of ‘Spherical Performances’.

Krisztina began her journey through the art of dance at a very early age in her hometown Budapest, Hungary. After training in various dance styles she joined Kolibri Dance Company (www.kolibrik.hu) where she received a structured training specialising in modern dance fused with ballet. They created spectacles together and won the Hungarian Showdance Championship several times. Being always attracted to new cultures and to expand her opportunities Krisztina spent time living in Barcelona, London and now Berlin. These experiences contributed to and shaped her performance style.

Krisztina’s playful spirit led her to discover the world of circus and soon she found her passion as a performing circus artist. In 2008 she joined the world renowned juggling performance group “Feeding the Fish” (www.feedingthefish.com) and became an established professional circus performer obtaining a variety of international credits such as the Paralympics Closing Ceremony (UK), MTV EMEA Music Award (DE), F1 and Moto GP (IT) and the Commonwealth Games (IN). She continues to perform and work with Feeding the Fish having relocated to Berlin.

In addition Krisztina also works freelance, creating her own unique shows. Utilising over 20 years of stage experience, her performances are smooth and charming.

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it.” - Martha Graham
